Rocking Horse

One of my favorite things to make are rocking horses. The problem is is that they are not cost efective . They take a long time to carve and the accessory sets are expensive. recently I have learned that you should carve the head first. Up to now I have not been happy with my carved heads. But this time I am very happy. Rocking Horse carving is not something you do it is something that you learn. Any art or craft can take years of practise to become highly skilled and this is no exception. I will put up pics of of the finished horse once I have got there.
